A round ball of fur with both cheeks stuffed full. Watch the video, follow along on paper, then bring your hamster to life.
Watch it first
Draw it step by step
New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.
Draw a round head with a fat bump on each side. Wobbly bumps are best — they are cheeks full of food.
A small ear on each top corner of the head. Keep them little — big ears would make a mouse.
Two small dot eyes, a tiny nose, and a smile right between the cheeks.
A round body under the head, like a little ball of fur.
Two paws up under the chin, two feet at the bottom, and one stubby tail.
Two toes on each foot, and a sunflower seed held tight in both paws. Now this hamster is yours.
Now draw a hamster running in its wheel.
Practice on paper
Faint lines to trace, all six mini steps, and an empty box to draw your own. One page, works in black and white.
The magic part
Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper hamster into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little ear twitch below is a wink; the real clips go much further.
