Meet the Crew — three AI thinking partners.
Krea, Tek and Brio work elbow-to-elbow with your kid inside every project — not a lesson on a schedule, but a partner right there in the moment your kid is stuck. They ask the better question instead of handing over the answer, so the thing that gets finished is genuinely your kid’s. Built for kids 6–13.
Get early accessWhat is an AI thinking partner?
An AI thinking partner is an AI companion built for a kid’s making, not a chatbot. It asks before it answers, nudges the kid’s own thinking forward, and helps them finish real projects. A general chatbot answers questions; a thinking partner develops the kid’s own ideas.
The difference shows up in whose work comes out the other end. Ask a chatbot for a story and it writes the story. Ask a thinking partner and you get a question back — what is it about, who is it for, what happens next — and your kid writes the story. Same AI underneath; opposite job.
Krea, Tek and Brio
Three partners. Three ways to see the same problem.
Each one leans a different way, so your kid gets a different kind of push depending on which one they reach for — and they can switch between them any time.

Krea
the Creative
Sparks lateral thinking and fresh ideas.
When your kid is stuck for an idea, Krea asks what feeling they want, what would surprise people, what they would try if nothing could go wrong. The idea that comes out is still theirs — Krea just widened the room it could come from.

Tek
the Maker
Goes deeper on how things work and how to build them.
Instead of solving the problem for your kid, Tek helps them find the next step — where the thing started going sideways, what to try next. The kind of partner who leans over the workbench and says “what happens if you move that bit first?”

Brio
the Questioner
Reflective and Socratic, always asking the next question.
Brio helps your kid look at what they made and ask what worked, what didn't, who it's for, and what would make it better. This is the one that turns a finished thing into a better second draft.
It’s the same three characters in every app, so your kid meets the same Krea in a film project as in a magazine project. They’re reachable by text, and out loud: a walkie-talkie-style voice mode where your kid presses to talk, says what they’re stuck on, and hears a partner answer.
Attuned to each kid
A partner who already knows what your kid is working on.
The reason the questions land is that a partner arrives briefed. Here is exactly what “briefed” means — no more than that.
- 1
They know the studio your kid is standing in.
Every app carries its own brief for the Crew — written by us, not guessed — so a partner can explain how this particular studio works and get your kid unstuck without them having to leave the project and go searching.
- 2
They know what your kid is making right now.
When your kid opens a partner from inside a piece of work — a quest, a species they're studying, a company they're researching — the conversation is bound to that thing. The partner comes in already knowing it and stays on it, instead of asking your kid to explain themselves from scratch.
- 3
They remember the work.
The Crew shares one memory across every Kubrio app. A partner remembers what your kid has made and talked about before — in this app and in the others — so the questions build on their actual history rather than starting cold every time.
- 4
They're attuned to how your kid thinks and what they're into.
A partner knows your kid's name, their age, and what they're actually interested in, so a nudge lands inside their world instead of a generic one. They adapt their tone to each app too — a bit more playful in a creative one, a bit more precise in a building one — while staying the same three characters underneath.
And what it isn’t: the partners don’t quietly get smarter about your kid on their own. They’re handed context at the start of a conversation — the app’s brief, the thing your kid is making, what they’ve made before, who they are — the way you’d brief a studio-mate before they walk in. You control the account, and you can review, freeze or delete it at any time.
The one rule
Ask better questions instead of handing over answers.
That’s the whole rule, and everything else about the Crew follows from it. The hand stays the hero: your kid is the maker, and the AI is a responder, never an author.
They won't make the thing.
A partner will not draw the frame, write the script, or finish the level. When your kid hits a wall, what comes back is a question that moves them forward — and the making stays in their hands.
They give notes, then hand the pen back.
The AI reacts to what your kid already made and helps them push it further. Your kid draws, decides, writes and builds; the partner responds. That's why what they finish is genuinely theirs.
They're honest about being AI.
If a kid asks, a partner says plainly that it's an AI thinking partner, not a person. The voices are stylized on purpose, so your kid always knows what they're talking to — and anything that needs a grown-up gets handed to one.
You can watch it play out in what your kid actually does inside a project.
The Crew and Claire
The Crew makes with your kid. Claire coaches the family.
They’re separate, and they do different jobs. The Crew works in the moment, inside the studio, alongside your kid while they build. Claire is the family coach who zooms out: she has a weekly live voice check-in with your kid and writes to you about what she sees. Claire is not one of the Crew, and the Crew doesn’t run the weekly check-in or email you. Partners at the workbench; a coach across the season. Meet Claire.
The Crew is always there, so the checking runs on every message.
A thinking partner is only useful if it’s available the moment your kid is stuck — which is exactly why the guardrails can’t be a schedule. They run on every single message, inside a walled garden built for children.
Built for kids 6–13, not adapted from an adult tool
The Crew lives in Kubrio's kid-only, ad-free, COPPA-compliant space. No open internet, no strangers, no ads, ever — and the AI is tuned for kids with guardrails built in, rather than a general-purpose tool pointed at a child.
Every message is checked by a second AI
Kubrio's kid↔AI chat never runs on a single model. Every message between your child and our AI is checked by a second AI before it's allowed through. Two minds verify each other, so nothing slips past.
You see the work, and you hear when it matters
Everything your kid makes is visible to you in your dashboard. You get a summary of what your kid and the AI discussed, and if anything looks strange you get a notification straight away rather than at the end of the week.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI thinking partner?
An AI thinking partner is an AI companion built for a kid's making rather than for answering. It asks before it answers, nudges the kid's own thinking forward, and helps them finish something real. On Kubrio the thinking partners are Krea, Tek and Brio — the AI Crew — who work alongside your kid inside every app they build in.
How is it different from a general chatbot?
A general chatbot answers questions; a thinking partner develops the kid's own ideas. Ask a chatbot for a story and it writes the story. Ask a thinking partner and you get a question back — what is it about, who is it for, what happens next — and your kid writes the story. The chatbot's output is the AI's work; the thinking partner's output is your kid's.
Do the partners do the work for my kid?
No. The Crew has one rule: ask better questions instead of handing over answers. A partner will not draw the frame, write the script, or finish the level. It reacts to what your kid already made and helps them push it further, so the decisions and the making stay with your kid — which is the whole reason the finished thing is worth being proud of.
Is it safe for kids?
Yes. The Crew runs in Kubrio's kid-only, ad-free, COPPA-compliant space, with no open internet and no strangers. Every message between your child and the AI is checked by a second AI before it's allowed through, the partners are honest about being AI and never pretend to be a person, and anything that needs a grown-up is handed to one. You can see everything your kid makes in your dashboard, and you get an alert straight away if something looks off.
The Crew comes with the membership.
One family membership covers every kid in the house: the whole catalog of projects, Krea, Tek and Brio inside every one of them, and Claire coaching the journey. The AI is included, not metered — no per-app charges, no add-ons to buy, no upgrade tiers to weigh.
