What are Krea, Tek, and Brio, the Kubrio AI Crew?

The AI Crew is three thinking partners inside Kubrio: Krea, the creative; Tek, the maker; and Brio, the questioner. They show up across the apps to ask better questions, not hand over answers, so your kid stays the maker. Claire is separate: she's the family's AI coach.

The AI Crew is three AI thinking partners that live inside Kubrio: Krea, Tek, and Brio. They show up across the apps while your kid builds. They share one rule: ask better questions instead of handing over answers. The hand stays the hero. Your kid makes the thing; the Crew helps them think it through.

The three partners

Krea is the creative partner. When your kid is stuck on what to make or how to make it more theirs, Krea pushes on ideas. It asks what feeling you want, what would surprise people, what you'd try if nothing could go wrong. Your kid keeps deciding.

Tek is the maker partner. When a build breaks or a plan gets fuzzy, Tek helps your kid figure out the next step. It asks where the problem started and what to test first, instead of writing the fix for them. The work stays in your kid's hands.

Brio is the questioner. Brio helps your kid look at what they made and ask what's next. What worked, what didn't, who's it for, what would make it better. Brio turns a finished project into the start of the next one.

How the Crew shows up

The Crew appears across the studio. In the AI Walkie Talkie, your kid can talk a problem through out loud. In Sketchling and Discovery, the Crew nudges with questions while your kid works. It's the same principle everywhere: amplify the kid's initiative, never replace it. See what your kid actually does.

Every message between your kid and the AI is checked by a second AI before it goes through. You get summaries and alerts. It's kid-only, ad-free, and COPPA compliant. More on safety.

Claire is not the Crew

Claire is the family's AI coach, and she's separate from the Crew. Once a week, at a time you schedule, Claire has a short live voice check-in with your kid. She remembers your whole family across everything Kubrio, and she gives you a clear summary afterward.

The simple split: the Crew are thinking partners inside the apps, helping your kid make things in the moment. Claire is the coach who zooms out, talks with your kid each week, and keeps you in the loop. Together they back your kid's initiative without taking it over.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the AI Crew and Claire?

The Crew (Krea, Tek, and Brio) are three thinking partners inside the apps that help your kid build in the moment by asking better questions. Claire is the family's AI coach who does a short live weekly voice check-in with your kid and sends you a summary. The Crew works inside projects; Claire zooms out across the whole family.

Is the AI safe for my kid?

Yes. Every message between your kid and the AI is checked by a second AI before it goes through. You get summaries and alerts, and Kubrio is kid-only, ad-free, and COPPA compliant. See /safety for details.

Does the AI make the project for my kid?

No. The Crew is built to ask better questions, not give faster answers. Your kid stays the maker. The AI amplifies their initiative and helps them think through the next step, but the hand that builds is always your kid's.

Where do Krea, Tek, and Brio show up?

Across Kubrio's apps, including the AI Walkie Talkie for talking a problem through, plus Sketchling, Discovery, and more. Wherever your kid is working, the right partner shows up to ask the question that moves the build forward.

Who is each Crew member for?

Krea is the creative partner for ideas and making a project feel like your kid's own. Tek is the maker partner for builds, plans, and fixing what breaks. Brio is the questioner who helps your kid reflect on a finished thing and decide what to make next.
