Accounts, access, and getting your family set up.
- How do accounts and access work?Kubrio runs on one family account. Kids don't have accounts of their own; each kid is a profile under it, and you give them access to the studio from your side. You can invite your partner as a co-parent with full access, and grandparents as view-only members.
- How do we get set up?Setup is three steps. Create your parent account and add each kid as a profile. Pick a plan for each kid; paying by card is also how Kubrio verifies you're a parent. Then your kid opens Kubrio in a web browser and starts on paper, with nothing to install.
- Can I share Kubrio with my partner or grandparents?Yes. Kubrio is a family account. Invite your partner as a co-parent with day-to-day access, and invite grandparents as viewers, who get a read-only window into the kids' projects. The parent who owns the account manages each kid's plan.
- "How do projects work?""A project is one finished thing your kid makes in a studio: a film, a game, a comic, or a robot. Your kid picks one and finishes it, about one a week. Projects have no deadline, and everything your kid makes stays theirs."

- What do I see as a parent?You get two things. Your dashboard holds a portfolio of everything your kid has finished. And when your kid's film, game, comic, or robot premieres, you get an email from Claire at Kubrio with the link.
- How does Kubrio keep kids safe?Kubrio is a kid-only, ad-free, COPPA-compliant studio. Every drawing and story is safety-checked before anything is made. Everything your kid finishes lands in your parent dashboard, and you can review, freeze, or delete the account at any time.
- Who can see what my kid makes?Finished work shows in the internal Kubrio Gallery, which only Kubrio families can see. At the premiere, your kid's film, game, comic, or robot becomes public: it gets a page at kubrio.com/made that anyone with the link can open, and Kubrio may feature it on kubrio.com. For a robot, only the finished 3D robot goes public; the photo of your kid's paper drawing stays private. You and your kid can make it private anytime. The page shows your kid's first name, age, and avatar, never a last name, school, or photo.
- How do Kubrio plans work?Each kid on your account gets their own monthly plan. Kubrio Learn is $12 a month per kid and has every Learn course. Kubrio One is $49 a month per kid and adds one studio you pick. Kubrio Unlimited is $99 a month per kid and has every studio. There is no free plan. You can cancel anytime, and everything your kid makes stays theirs.
- Why does Kubrio verify every parent?A kids' community only stays a kids' community if every adult in it has proven they're a parent. Parents are verified by their card, once, when the first plan starts. Verified-parent accounts are how we keep Kubrio COPPA-safe, and unverified accounts are removed after 30 days.

- Why is Kubrio built around projects?Kubrio is built around projects because that is the direction the evidence points. The largest analysis of learning research ever done — 225 studies — found students in listen-only classrooms were about one and a half times more likely to fail than students who learned actively. Kids learn what they practice, so Kubrio makes the practice the unit.
- How does Kubrio design its studios?Every Kubrio studio is built the same way. The research on how kids learn the craft comes first. Then a prototype, a safety check before any kid touches it, a fast launch, and steady improvement from what kids do with it. Kids who report bugs become Quality Guardians and help build it.
