Last Updated: June 27, 2026

Effective June 27, 2026, this Privacy Policy has been updated to reflect Kubrio's studio model (multiple apps), enhanced children's privacy protections in compliance with the updated COPPA rule, separate consent requirements for AI processing, and improved transparency about third-party service providers.

Key Points Summary

Guiding Principles

Kubrio Inc ("we," "us," "our," or "Kubrio") knows that you care about how your Personal Information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children who use our site and applications, and have drafted this policy in accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). For more information about COPPA and general tips about protecting children's online privacy, please visit OnGuard Online. Please read the following to learn more about how we use your Personal Information. By visiting, accessing or using the kubrio.com website, and any other linked pages, features, content, or application services (including mobile applications) offered by Kubrio in connection therewith (collectively, "Kubrio"), or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy. Kubrio is a learning platform for kids ages 6-13, where children learn using AI and connect with other kids in a safe, monitored environment. What Does This Privacy Policy Cover? This Privacy Policy covers Kubrio's treatment of personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") that Kubrio gathers when you access Kubrio and when you use Kubrio's services. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Kubrio does not own or control (including any third-party products or services used for logging into Kubrio or that are integrated with Kubrio), or to individuals that Kubrio does not employ or manage. Kubrio may contain links to other sites. Kubrio is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. Public sharing of your child's creations

Sharing is optional and off by default. Nothing your child makes is ever public until you or your child chooses to publish that specific creation. If your child publishes something, they do so under the consent you've already given as their parent — you stay in control.

What a public page shows, and what it never shows. When a creation is published, its public page shows the creation itself, a display name, and — only in some cases — a small cartoon avatar. The display name is a first name at most (we automatically shorten anything longer and remove anything that looks like an email address or phone number), or simply "A Kubrio kid" if no name is chosen. An avatar appears only when it's one of Kubrio's own preset cartoon illustrations — we never show an uploaded photo. We never publish your child's last name, age, location, contact details, or the original file names of what they upload.

You're told the first time something is shared. The first time a creation of your child's becomes public, we email you with a link to the public page and a link to the control in your parent dashboard.

You can take anything down, anytime. From your dashboard you can hide any shared creation instantly. Once you hide it, the public page stops working promptly — within about a minute. (If the link was previously posted to a social network, that network may keep showing an old preview thumbnail in its own cache for a while, which is outside our control; the Kubrio page itself is taken down.)

No contact from strangers. Public pages have no comments, no messages, and no way for anyone to contact your child through them.
