What does one membership cover?
Every app, every kid. A live membership opens Make for every kid on your account, across every studio app in it — a project a week is the rhythm the studio is built around, not a cap. If you have more than one kid, they are all included. So are the adults: a co-parent and grandparents you invite through family accounts ride on the same membership at no extra cost. When a new studio opens, it is included too. There are no add-ons to buy and no upgrade tiers to weigh.
That also includes the coaching and the AI crew, at no extra charge. Your membership includes Claire, the first AI Learning Coach for Families, who runs the weekly check-ins and summaries described in what do I see as a parent. It includes the AI crew, Krea, Tek, and Brio, who work alongside your kid across the studios, covered in the AI crew. None of these carry a per-app charge. One price, the whole thing.

No cap while your membership is live. A project a week is the rhythm the studio is built around, and Make simply stays open for every kid on your account for as long as you're a member. Everything your kid has already made stays theirs forever, whether or not you keep paying.

What is a founding family?
Right now, Kubrio is in its founding phase, and the way in is a founding membership. Founding families get 40% off their first payment, on any plan — weekly, monthly, or quarterly — and there are only 100 founding seats.
Each founding family gets a founding number, which is tied to your family and marks you as one of the first hundred in. It is a small, permanent piece of belonging to the group that helped shape Kubrio early. Because the seats are capped at 100, the founding number is genuinely limited, not a rolling label. Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your Kubrio membership at any time. There is no lock-in and no minimum term. When you cancel, you keep access through the period you have already paid for, and you are not billed again after that.
Canceling is not the same as a refund. If you cancel, you simply stop future payments. If you want money back on a payment you already made, that is a refund, and the rules for that are below.
How do refunds work?
Refunds on Kubrio are designed to be simple and fast, and there is one thing to understand up front about the founding number.
Refunds are instant. When a refund is issued, it processes right away rather than sitting in a queue. Refunds apply to the first payment. And a refund forfeits the founding number. Because founding seats are capped at 100 and tied to your family, taking a refund releases your founding number and your place in that group. That is the trade: the refund is quick and clean, but it gives up the founding spot rather than pausing it.
So the choice is straightforward. If you want to stop paying but keep your place, cancel, which stops future billing and leaves your founding number intact. If you want your first payment back, take the refund and understand the founding number is released with it.
Why is it priced this one way?
Kubrio is deliberately not sold as a stack of apps with separate prices, because that is not how a family actually uses it. A kid drifts from a film studio one week to a game one the next, and Claire sees across all of it. Splitting that into per-app charges would break the thing that makes it work: one coach and one crew who know your kid across everything they touch.
