How do Kubrio plans work?

Each kid on your account gets their own plan, priced per kid, per month. You pick the plan that fits each kid, and kids in one family can be on different plans. This page explains what each plan includes, how billing works for more than one kid, and how cancellation and refunds work.

What does each plan include?

There are three plans:

• Kubrio Learn, $12 a month per kid. Every course in Learn: short voiced films, a quiz at the end of each course, a sticker for finishing, and paper projects to make at home.
• Kubrio One, $49 a month per kid. One studio you pick (Animation Studio, Game Studio, Comic Studio, or Robotics Studio, which is in beta), plus everything in Kubrio Learn. Your kid makes as many projects as they want in that studio.
• Kubrio Unlimited, $99 a month per kid. Every studio, plus everything in Kubrio Learn. When a new studio opens, it's included the day it opens.

Each kid has daily limits that keep the studios fast and fair for everyone. A kid who reaches a limit continues the next day.

Do I pay for each kid?

Yes. Each kid has their own plan and their own monthly subscription, and every kid pays the same price for the same plan, so two kids on Kubrio Learn are $24 a month. Cancelling one kid's plan doesn't change another kid's plan.

Can my kid switch studios on Kubrio One?

No. Kubrio One covers the studio you picked. To change studios, cancel that plan and start a new one for the other studio. If your kid wants more than one studio, Kubrio Unlimited covers every studio for $99 a month.

Is there a free plan?

No. Learn courses and the studios need a plan. The free guides on kubrio.com stay free, with no account.

We already have the family membership. Does anything change?

No. If your family is on the older family membership, you keep it while it stays active, and it still covers every kid in your family, including kids you add later.

What is a founding number?

Each family gets a founding number when it starts its first paid plan, while founding spots remain. The number belongs to the family, not to a kid. Founding families who joined on the family membership keep their price while that membership stays active. See the pricing page for what's on offer today.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel a kid's plan at any time. There is no lock-in and no minimum term.

Canceling is not the same as a refund. If you cancel, you stop future payments. If you want money back on a payment you already made, that is a refund, and the rules for that are in the next section.

How do refunds work?

If you change your mind within seven days of a plan's first payment, you get a full refund of that payment. A refund on your family's first paid plan also releases your founding number.
