What is Kubrio and how does it work?

Kubrio is an AI Learning Studio for kids ages 6 to 13. Its library of AI-native projects — publish a manga, direct a short film, launch a game other kids can play, run a $1M paper fund — rebuilds learning around what AI makes possible, with new projects added every week. Kids make them with three PhD-level AI thinking partners, and Claire, an AI learning coach parents shape with their own family's values. One family membership, $99 a month, covers all of it.

Kubrio is an AI Learning Studio for kids ages 6 to 13. Its library of AI-native projects rebuilds learning around what AI makes possible: publish a manga, direct a short film, launch a game other kids can play, run a $1M paper fund — with new projects added every week. One family membership covers all of it.

The goal is simple: inspire kids to take initiative, learn to direct AI, build real things, and see what's possible. Most of the digital world is built to make kids consume. Kubrio is built to make them makers. Kids use AI to amplify their own initiative, not replace it. The hand stays the hero.

A shelf of projects, always open

The studio is a shelf your kid picks from — nobody assigns. Every project ends in a real thing they keep, with their name on it: a film, a fund, a magazine, a game. New projects land every week, so the shelf keeps growing. Browse the studio, or see what your kid actually does.

Four sprint seasons a year add a deadline and a cohort of kids building alongside each other, and each season ends with Demo Week — the finale where the whole studio shows what it made. Between seasons the studio stays open, no clock. See the season calendar.

The AI: three thinking partners and Claire

AI shows up two ways. The AI Crew — Krea, Tek, and Brio, the AI Walkie Talkie — is three PhD-level thinking partners your kid can call on inside any project. They're built to ask better questions and hand the pen back, never to make the thing for your kid. Meet them on the AI Crew page.

Claire is the family's AI learning coach, and parents shape her with their own family's values. Each week she has a short live check-in with your kid, and each week she writes to you with what they made and how they're growing.

One membership, the whole family

One family membership — $99 a month — covers every project, the AI Crew, Claire, and all four sprint seasons, for every kid in the house.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the studio and a sprint season?

The studio is always open: your kid picks a project off the shelf whenever they want, at their own pace, no clock. A sprint season adds a deadline and a cohort of kids building alongside each other, and ends with Demo Week, when the whole studio shows what it made. Kubrio runs four seasons a year, and one family membership covers both.

What ages is Kubrio for?

Kids ages 6 to 13. One family membership covers all of your kids, so siblings of different ages can each use it.

Does the AI do the work for my kid?

No. The AI Crew — Krea, Tek, and Brio — is built to ask better questions and hand the pen back, not to hand over answers. Your kid stays the maker; the AI amplifies what they start and helps them learn to direct it well.

Are new projects added over time?

Yes — new projects land on the shelf every week. The studio apps are the engines behind them, so one app can power many different projects, and the shelf your kid picks from keeps growing.

Is Kubrio safe for kids?

Yes. It's a kid-only, ad-free walled garden with no strangers and no ads, and it's COPPA compliant. See the safety page for details.
