Draw one big oval for the tummy. Round and chubby is right — a pony is a short, round horse.
A big rounded head up to the left, then two short lines down to the body. Keep the neck thick and stubby.
One pointy ear on top, one dot eye, a little nostril near the front, and a smile under it.
Short, sturdy legs — about half as tall as the tummy is deep. Ponies are built low to the ground.
A shaggy fringe over the brow, a bushy mane down the neck, and a big fat tail off the back.
A little saddle blanket on its back, and one small hoof band on each leg. Now this pony is yours.
