Draw it step by step

Six steps to a seahorse

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the body

Draw a fat bean standing up, round in front and pointy at the bottom.

2

Add the head

A round head on top, with a long tube snout pointing left.

3

Curl the tail

Pull the tail down from the point and roll it up like a snail shell. Add three bumps on top for a crown.

4

Face and back fin

One dot eye, a smile along the snout, and a little round fan fin on the back.

5

Belly ridges

Four short lines across the round tummy, and three lines fanning out across the fin.

6

Finishing touches

A wavy strand of seaweed beside the curly tail, and two bubbles. Now this seahorse is yours.

The magic part

Animate your drawing with AI

Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper seahorse into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little fin flutter below is a wink; the real clips go much further.

Ingenious projects that inspire kids to make things — until they find the thing only they could make.
Ages 6–13.
