Draw it step by step

Six steps to a cat

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the head

Draw a big circle in the middle of your paper. It doesn't have to be perfect.

2

Add pointy ears

Two triangles on top of the circle, like two little mountains.

3

Give it a face

Two dot eyes, a tiny triangle nose, and a curvy smile under it.

4

Draw the body

A rounded body under the head, narrow at the top and wide at the bottom. Your cat is sitting down.

5

Paws and a tail

Two front paws poking out at the bottom, and a long tail curving up behind.

6

Whiskers and a bell

Three whiskers on each side, then a collar with a little bell. Now this cat is yours.

The magic part

Animate your drawing with AI

Finished drawing? In the Sketchling project, your kid turns this paper cat into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little tail flick below is a wink; the real clips go much further.

Ingenious projects that inspire kids to make things — until they find the thing only they could make.
