Close your eyes, and listen. Sound tells you how to feel.
In the sound room, you decide what your movie sounds like.
Step one. Do your characters talk, or is it just music? Music is great when the pictures tell the story.
Step two. Pick who talks in each scene. One voice at a time is easier to hear.
Step three. Think about the message. What should people feel right now? Scared? Happy? Surprised?
Step four. Write the line. Keep it short, like real people talk. Or hold the button, and just say it.
Short lines. Big feelings. Now give your characters a voice!
