Draw it step by step

Six steps to an airplane

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the body

Draw a long tube with a round, pointy nose on the left. Let the bottom sweep up at the back.

2

Add the tail

A tall fin standing up at the back, and a small wing sticking out below it.

3

One big wing

Draw a long wing leaning back under the middle of the body. It sweeps back like an arrow.

4

Windows and a door

A row of round windows along the side, and a tall door near the front.

5

A jet engine

A short tube hanging under the body, in front of the wing, with a round opening at the front.

6

Finishing touches

A bright cockpit window at the front, and two fluffy clouds to fly past. Now this airplane is yours.

Animate your drawing with AI

Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper airplane into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The blinking cockpit window below is a wink; the real clips go much further.

Ingenious projects that inspire kids to make things — until they find the thing only they could make.
Ages 6–13.
