Draw it step by step

Six steps to a boat

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the hull

Draw a long flat line for the top. Curve down and round underneath, like a smile.

2

Stand up the mast

One tall straight line up from the middle of the deck. Make it reach high above the boat.

3

Two triangle sails

A big triangle behind the mast and a small one in front. Both touch the mast.

4

Put it on the water

Draw wavy lines under the boat. Leave a little gap so the boat floats.

5

Portholes and a stripe

Three round windows along the hull. One stripe across the big sail.

6

Finishing touches

A little flag on top of the mast and a seagull in the sky. Now this boat is yours.

Now draw a boat sailing through a storm of bubbles.

Animate your drawing with AI

Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper boat into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The fluttering flag below is a wink; the real clips go much further.

Ingenious projects that inspire kids to make things — until they find the thing only they could make.
