Draw it step by step

Six steps to a donut

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with a big ring

Draw a big circle, but leave the top corner bumpy. Three little scoops make the bite.

2

Add the hole

Draw a small circle a little above the middle. Leave plenty of room below it for a face.

3

Pour on the icing

Draw a wavy line inside the edge, with two long drips. Then circle the hole with a second ring.

4

Give it a face

Two dot eyes and a big smile under the hole. Happy donuts taste better.

5

Cheeks and crumbs

Add two round cheeks. Then drop three crumbs by the bite.

6

Shake on sprinkles

Short little dashes all over the icing, each one pointing a different way. Keep them off the face.

Now draw a donut that is too big to finish.

Animate your drawing with AI

Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper donut into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little blink below is a wink; the real clips go much further.

Ingenious projects that inspire kids to make things — until they find the thing only they could make.
