Draw it step by step

Six steps to a flamingo

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the body

Draw a big oval with a pointy tail on the right. Leave a gap at the top left for the neck.

2

An S-shaped neck

Two long wavy lines up from the gap, bending like the letter S. Put a small circle on top for the head.

3

Give it a face

One dot eye, then a thick beak that bends down in the middle. Add a line near the end, where the beak turns black.

4

One leg down, one leg up

One long thin leg straight down. Bend the other one up like the number 4.

5

Fold a wing on

A leaf shape on the side, round at the front and pointed at the back. Add one feather line inside.

6

Finishing touches

Two ripples round the leg, where it meets the water. Now this flamingo is yours.

Go further

Now draw a flamingo trying to stand on one leg on something wobbly.

Animate your drawing with AI

Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper flamingo into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little wing lift below is a wink; the real clips go much further.

Ingenious projects that inspire kids to make things — until they find the thing only they could make.
