Draw it step by step

Six steps to a rhino

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the body

Draw one big round body, like a giant bean. Wobbly is fine.

2

A low head and two ears

A long head that hangs down in front, and two pointy ears on top.

3

Horns and a face

One tall horn on the nose, and a small one behind it. Then a dot eye, a nostril, and a smile.

4

Stumpy legs and a tail

Four short, thick legs, like tree stumps. Then a thin tail hanging off the back.

5

Skin folds and toenails

Two curvy folds on the body, where the skin bends. Then little toenails on the two feet closest to you.

6

Finishing touches

A tuft on the end of the tail, and a little bird on the rhino's back. Now this rhino is yours.

Go further

Now draw a rhino whose horn is being used as a hat stand.

Animate your drawing with AI

Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper rhino into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little tail flick below is a wink; the real clips go much further.

Ingenious projects that inspire kids to make things — until they find the thing only they could make.
