Draw it step by step

Six steps to a robot

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the body

Draw a big box in the middle of the page. Use a ruler if you like straight lines.

2

Add a square head

A smaller box on top, joined to the body by a short neck.

3

Give it a face

Two round eyes with a dot in each, and a happy grid mouth.

4

Tube arms and legs

One arm hangs down and one bends up to wave. Two short legs stand on boxy feet.

5

Pincers and buttons

A pincer at the end of each arm, like a little claw. Then a panel on the chest with two buttons and a dial.

6

Finishing touches

An antenna with a ball on top, a bolt on each side of the head, and a heart light. Now this robot is yours.

Animate your drawing with AI

Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper robot into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little wave below is a wink; the real clips go much further.

Ingenious projects that inspire kids to make things — until they find the thing only they could make.
