Six steps, one pencil, about eight minutes. Watch the video, follow along on paper, then bring your cactus to life.
Watch it first
Draw it step by step
New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.
A tall shape with a round top, like a long loaf standing up.
One thick arm out and up on each side, like someone saying hello.
A wide pot under the cactus, a bit narrower at the bottom.
Two dot eyes and a small smile. Keep them on the front of the cactus.
Two long lines down the body, then tiny spikes poking out of the edges.
A little flower on top and a stripe round the pot. Now this cactus is yours.
Now draw a cactus growing somewhere there is no desert at all.
Practice on paper
Faint lines to trace, all six mini steps, and an empty box to draw your own. One page, works in black and white.
The magic part
Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper cactus into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The flower nodding below is a wink; the real clips go much further.
The Animation Studio
Your kid draws a character on paper, tells the story, and watches it star in a real animated film.
