Build a Haunted-House Hunt Your Family Plays on Halloween Night

This one is coming soon. Your kid will pick the hiding spots in your own house, write a clue for every one, and choose the monster who reads them out loud; the AI performs the host and never writes a clue. Family, friends, and trick-or-treaters play the hunt from a link on one shared phone, and the treat is at the last stop.

What your kid actually makes

A playable hunt through your own home. Their stops, their clues, their order, a monster who reads the clues out, and a treat at the end. Anyone plays it from a link on one phone.

How a sitting goes

Pick a spot, write the clue, test it on a sibling, fix the clue that gave it away, next spot. Publish. Then the family plays it and your kid watches.

What AI does — and what your kid does

Your kid writes every clue and picks every spot. The AI performs the host and illustrates the monster. It never writes a clue and never fills a stop they left empty.

What they're really learning

Sequencing, rules and goals, and tuning difficulty — a clue should take about three guesses. Testing a clue on a sibling and fixing it is debugging, which is the part most kid game tools skip.

Good to know

  • No accounts for the people playing, and nothing goes public.
  • No printables. The hunt lives on a phone.
  • Every stop is inside your home. Three stops is a finished hunt.

a playable hunt through their own home, with their clues and a treat

There are two kinds of projects for kids. The first kind ends on the fridge door. The second kind ends as a real thing other kids can read, watch, or play: a magazine, a game, a film, an episode. Kubrio makes the second kind. Kids make them by directing the same AI the pros use.

Coming to the studio

This project isn’t open yet — it’s in the build queue. New projects land on the studio shelf regularly, and member families see them the day they open.
