Draw it step by step
New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.
Draw one big egg shape in the middle of your paper. It is the head and the body in one, so leave room on top for two ear tufts.
Two little spikes on top, leaning out to the sides. Curve them so they look soft, not sharp.
Two big circles side by side, almost touching. Put a dark dot in the middle of each one, then a small triangle beak underneath.
One folded wing down the right side, tucked against the body. Two short legs underneath, and a pair of toes at the bottom of each one.
Little scoops across the chest, one row under the other. They turn the front into soft feathers.
A branch for the feet to hold, a twig off one end, and a crescent moon in the sky. Now this owl is yours.
Now draw an owl reading a bedtime story.
