Draw it step by step
New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.
Draw one big circle near the top of your paper. Wobbly is fine — a scarecrow's head is a stuffed sack, and no sack is perfectly round.
One big shirt under the head, wide at the shoulders and loose at the bottom. It is stuffed with straw, so keep every edge soft and round.
One long curve across the top of his head for the brim, then a soft dome above it. Add a few short lines under the brim for straw hair.
Two dot eyes, a button nose, and a wide smile. Cross the smile with three lines — one at each end, one in the middle — so it looks stitched.
Two long sleeves out to the sides, like a shirt on a washing line. Add straw at both cuffs, and a post below the shirt to hold him up.
A little crow on his shoulder with a beak, a dot eye, and one wing lifted, then a square patch on the shirt. Now this scarecrow is yours.
Now draw a scarecrow who's friends with the crows.
