Draw it step by step
New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.
Draw one big circle low on the page. Wobbly is fine — wobbly circles make friendly spiders.
A smaller circle on top, overlapping the big one a little. A spider has two round parts, not one.
Each leg goes out and up, then bends back down again. Start every one on the edge of the big circle.
Match the left side, leg for leg. Count to eight when you finish.
Two big eyes high on the head, then a wide smile under them. Big eyes make a friendly spider.
A silk thread from the back of the head up to the top of the page, then a little pointed hat tipped to one side. Now this spider is yours.
Now draw a spider knitting a scarf from its own web.
