A big chest, a round cockpit, and a waving mitten hand. Watch the video, follow along on paper, then bring your mech to life.
Watch it first
Draw it step by step
New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.
Draw a big box that is wider at the top than at the bottom. Use a ruler if you like straight lines.
Two big shoulder pads that stick out past the chest. Then a small square head on top.
A big round window in the chest. Inside, a kid pilot with a happy face.
One arm hangs down and one waves hello, both with mitten hands. Thick legs stand on big flat feet.
A visor on the head, joint lines at the elbow and knees, and a bolt in each corner of the chest.
A ground line, a tiny tree to show how giant it is, and a light on the visor. Now this mech is yours.
Now draw a giant robot that helps out in your town.
Practice on paper
Faint lines to trace, all six mini steps, and an empty box to draw your own. One page, works in black and white.
The magic part
Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper mech into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little wave below is a wink; the real clips go much further.
The Animation Studio
Your kid draws a character on paper, tells the story, and watches it star in a real animated film.
