Draw it step by step

Six steps to a rover

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the body

Draw a long flat box in the middle of the page. Use a ruler if you like straight lines.

2

Wheels on legs

Three round wheels in a row under the box. Join them with one zigzag line that touches the box twice.

3

Raise the mast

A tall stick up from the front of the box. Put a wide box on top for the head.

4

Give it a face

Two big round camera lenses, a dot in each, and a small smile underneath.

5

A solar panel and a dish

A flat solar panel on two short posts. Then a round dish at the back, so the rover can call home.

6

Finishing touches

A hub in each wheel, bumpy ground with two rocks, and a bright star. Now this rover is yours.

Animate your drawing with AI

Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper rover into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The turning dish below is a wink; the real clips go much further.

Ingenious projects that inspire kids to make things — until they find the thing only they could make.
