Draw it step by step

Six steps to Frankenstein's monster

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the head

Draw a tall box with a flat top and a rounded chin. Wobbly is fine — wobbly lines make a friendly monster.

2

Add the neck and jacket

Two straight lines under the chin make a thick neck. Hang a boxy jacket off the bottom of them.

3

Hair and a face

One straight line across the head gives him flat hair. Add two dot eyes low down, a little hook of a nose, and a wide smile.

4

One arm up to wave

Send one arm up and open the hand, with the thumb out to the side. The other arm swings down, and that hand stays closed.

5

Legs and big boots

Two short legs under the jacket. Park a big blocky boot at the end of each one, with the toes pointing out.

6

Bolts and a stitch

One zigzag stitch across the forehead, a V collar on the jacket, and a bolt on each side of the neck. Now this monster is yours.

Animate your drawing with AI

Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper monster into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little wave below is a wink; the real clips go much further.

Ingenious projects that inspire kids to make things — until they find the thing only they could make.
