How to make a superhero
A superhero course for kids 6 to 13. Your kid invents a hero nobody has seen: one power with a limit, a weakness, an origin in one sentence, and a suit with a symbol, all on one hero card. Four short films, about 3 minutes, then 45–60 minutes of inventing and drawing.

Lesson 1 transcript: One power, one limit
Today you invent a superhero nobody has ever seen!
Every hero starts with a power. Not ten powers. One!
Make it exact. Not "can do anything." What exactly can your hero do?
Meet Boing! Boing can bounce as high as a house.
Now add a limit. Boing gets three big bounces. Then she has to rest.
A limit makes your hero think. Three bounces. Where should she land?
Your turn. Write one power. Make it exact. Add one limit. Then press Next.

Questions parents ask
Is this only for kids who love superhero movies?
No. The course is about inventing someone new, so it works for any kid 6 to 13 who likes making up characters. Copying a famous hero is not the goal.
My kid can't draw people well. Is that a problem?
No. Shapes, colors, and a symbol carry the design, and a simple figure works. The course includes a superhero drawing guide for extra practice.
How much screen time does it take?
The four films take about 3 minutes. The inventing and drawing happen on paper.
