Six steps, one pencil, about twelve minutes. Watch the video, follow along on paper, then bring your troll to life.
Watch it first
Draw it step by step
New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.
Draw one gently humped line across the top of the page. Then a round arch under it, with its feet going down.
Draw a wide oval head under the arch. Then a round belly hangs below it.
Two small dot eyes and a big potato nose. Then a wide smile with a little tusk poking up at each end.
A floppy ear hangs off each side of the head. Then a little tuft of hair sticks up on top.
One arm waves hello with a big lumpy hand. The other hangs down. Two short legs stand in the stream.
Wavy water, a few stones, a railing on top, and a fish jumping by. Now this troll is yours.
Now draw a troll who guards a bridge made of candy.
Practice on paper
Faint lines to trace, all six mini steps, and an empty box to draw your own. One page, works in black and white.
The magic part
Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper troll into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little wave below is a wink; the real clips go much further.
The Animation Studio
Your kid draws a character on paper, tells the story, and watches it star in a real animated film.
