Six steps, one pencil, about ten minutes. Watch the video, follow along on paper, then bring your monster to life.
Watch it first
Draw it step by step
New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.
Draw a tall gumdrop, round on top and wide at the bottom. Wobbly is fine.
One curved horn on each side of the head, sweeping out and up.
Two big round eyes with dots inside, and a wide grin underneath.
One arm resting, one arm up to wave. Then two stubby feet with three round toes each.
Two square teeth in the grin, and a big round patch on the tummy.
A few spots on the body. Now this monster is yours.
Now draw a monster who is scared of something tiny.
Practice on paper
Faint lines to trace, all six mini steps, and an empty box to draw your own. One page, works in black and white.
The magic part
Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper monster into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little wave below is a wink; the real clips go much further.
The Animation Studio
Your kid draws a character on paper, tells the story, and watches it star in a real animated film.
