Draw it step by step

Six steps to a monkey

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the head

Draw one big circle. Wobbly is fine — wobbly circles make friendly monkeys.

2

Two round ears

A round ear on each side of the circle, sticking straight out like two handles.

3

Draw the peanut face

A peanut shape inside the head — round at the top, pinched in the middle, round at the bottom.

4

Eyes, nose and a smile

Two dot eyes right on the pinch, two tiny nose holes under them, and a wide smile.

5

Body and two arms

A round body under the head, then an arm curving down from each shoulder.

6

A curly tail and a banana

One long tail that curls up at the end, a banana in one hand, and two little feet. Now this monkey is yours.

Go further

Now draw a monkey hanging from something that isn't a tree.
