Six steps to a triceratops

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the body

Draw a big round back and belly, like a backwards letter C. Leave the front open for the frill.

2

A big head and a frill

Draw a head with a hooked beak at the front. Then a bumpy frill around the back of it, like a round shield.

3

Three horns and an eye

Two long horns pointing forward, one short horn on the nose, and a dot eye.

4

Four legs and a tail

Four thick legs like tree stumps, and a short, fat tail at the back.

5

A smile and toenails

A happy curve under the beak, and little round toenails on the two front feet.

6

Spots and frill dots

Three spots along the back, and three little dots on the frill. Now this triceratops is yours.

Now draw a triceratops using its horns for something helpful.
