Draw it step by step

Six steps to a zebra

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the body

Draw one long body shape, like a loaf of bread. Leave the front end open for the neck.

2

Head and neck

A long head up to the left, like a wedge with a round nose. Then two curvy lines down to the body.

3

Face, ears, and mane

A dot eye, a nostril, a smile, and a line for the muzzle. Two ears on top, and a spiky mane that stands straight up.

4

Four legs and a tail

Two long legs at the front and two at the back. Then a thin tail hanging off the rump.

5

Bold stripes

Three short stripes on the neck, three tall ones on the body, and two curved ones on the hip. Leave a gap so no stripe touches a line.

6

Finishing touches

A hoof at the end of each leg, and a fluffy tuft on the tip of the tail. Now this zebra is yours.

Go further

Now draw a zebra whose stripes go the wrong way.
