Halloween for kids Costume ideas Paper bag monster

Paper bag monster mask
Ages 6+ · about 30 minutes
To make a paper bag monster, cut big eye holes in a grocery bag, then add paper fringe hair and paper teeth. It needs no sewing and no printer, and it is ready in about 30 minutes.
What you need
- A big paper grocery bag
- Scissors
- Colored paper
- A glue stick and tape
- Markers
How to make it
- Mark the eyesPut the bag over your kid's head. A grown-up gently marks where the eyes are with a finger, then takes it off and draws the spots.
- Cut the holesA grown-up cuts one wide window across both eyes, big enough to see the ground and both sides. Cut an arch on each side at the bottom so the bag sits on the shoulders.
- Make the hairCut a strip of colored paper, snip along one long edge every finger width, and glue it along the top of the bag.
- Add the teethCut a zigzag strip of white paper and glue it below the eye window.
- Draw the restYour kid draws spots, scales, eyebrows, or extra eyes with markers.
