How to voice act
This course teaches your kid the basics of voice acting: how to find a voice for each character and show a feeling with it. Krea hosts four short films, and your kid practices out loud with their own drawings. Plan about 3 minutes of films and 30 minutes of practice.

Hi, I'm Krea. Let's give your characters a voice.
Your voice can do so much.
It can go high like a tiny mouse. Or low like a sleepy bear.
It can go fast. It can go slooow.
First we warm up. Buzz your lips. Yawn really big.
Then you look at a character you drew and ask: how do they sound?
A brave knight? A grumpy cloud? A shy dragon?
Next you add a feeling. Say hello happy. Now say hello scared.
Same word. Totally different!
Pick a drawing. Let's hear it talk.
The 4 lessons
Lesson 1. Warm up your voice
Wake up your voice with buzzes, yawns, and silly sounds.
- Buzz your lips like a motor
- Yawn as big as you can
- Say a tongue twister three times

Lesson 2. Find the voice
High or low, fast or slow: pick a voice that fits your character.
- Hold up your character drawing
- Try a high voice and a low voice
- Pick the one that fits and write it next to the drawing

Lesson 3. Feelings you can hear
The same words sound different when the feeling changes.
- Say one line happy
- Say it scared
- Say it grumpy, then pick your favorite

Lesson 4. Two voices talking
Make two characters sound so different that anyone can tell who's talking. In the Sound room, pick who talks.
- Pick two characters
- Give each one a different voice
- Act out a short talk between them

What your kid makes
Your kid ends with a voice for each character they drew, written next to the drawing, and practice showing feelings out loud. In Animation Studio's Sound room, your kid picks who talks in each scene and writes what they say.

Questions parents ask
My kid is shy. Is this course a good fit?
Your kid practices alone or with family, using silly sounds and their own drawings. There's no audience unless your kid wants one.
What age is this for?
Kids 6–13. Younger kids enjoy the warm-ups and funny voices; older kids work on two characters talking and on showing feelings.
How much screen time is it?
The four films take about 3 minutes. The practice happens out loud, away from the screen.
