Six steps to a Christmas tree

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Zigzag down the left

Start at the top point and step down to the left: out, in, out, in, out. Like three wide stairs.

2

Mirror it on the right

Go back to the top point and make the same stairs the other way, then join the two bottoms with one line.

3

Add a trunk

A short stump under the tree, then a line of ground out each side of it.

4

Hang some baubles

Five round ornaments dotted about the branches. Spread them out so none of them touch.

5

Drape the tinsel

Two curves that swoop down across the tree, like a skipping rope hanging between your hands.

6

Finishing touches

A star right on the tip, and two little sparkles beside it. Now this tree is yours.

Go further

Now draw a Christmas tree decorated by someone's pet cat.
