Six steps to Santa

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the beard

Draw one big wide curve, like a giant letter U that fills the bottom of your paper. That is the beard.

2

Put the hat on

A thick band straight across the top of the beard, then a long pointy hat that flops over to the right with a bobble on the end.

3

Open up the face

Two short curves hanging down from the band, one on each side. They leave a gap in the beard for his face.

4

Eyes and a nose

Two dot eyes, a round nose below them, and one short eyebrow above each eye.

5

Add a moustache

One line from the bottom of the left cheek, dipping down and up to a point under the nose, then down and out to the right cheek.

6

Finishing touches

A smile peeking out below the moustache, three short strands down the beard, and a buckle on the hat band. Now this Santa is yours.

The magic part

Animate your drawing with AI

Finished drawing? In a Kubrio project, your kid turns this paper Santa into a real animated film — with Kubrio's AI thinking partners at their side. The little pom-pom swing below is a wink; the real clips go much further.

Ingenious projects that inspire kids to make things — until they find the thing only they could make.
