Draw it step by step

Six steps to a koala

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the head

Draw one big circle. Wobbly is fine — wobbly circles make friendly koalas.

2

Two fluffy ears

A big round ear on each top corner, with a few zigzag tufts on the outside.

3

Give it a face

Two small dot eyes, a big oval nose in the middle, and a sleepy smile.

4

Draw the tree

Two long lines from the top of the page to the bottom, next to the head.

5

Body, an arm, and a leg

Draw a round body that leans on the tree. Add an arm that reaches out to the tree, then a bent leg below it.

6

Finishing touches

Fluff in each ear, little claws where the paws grip the tree, and a twig with two long leaves. Now this koala is yours.

Go further

Now draw a koala who is wide awake for once.
