A panda is a round bear with two tilted eye patches and a snack in its paw. Watch the video, follow along on paper, then print the practice sheet and draw it again.

Draw it step by step

Six steps to a panda

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the head

Draw one big circle. Wobbly is fine — wobbly circles make friendly pandas.

2

Draw the body

A big round tummy under the head, wider at the bottom.

3

Ears and eye patches

A small round ear on each side, then two big tilted ovals, their tops leaning toward each other.

4

Give it a face

A dot eye in the middle of each oval, a round nose, and a little smile.

5

Arms and feet

One arm rests on the tummy, and one reaches up to hold something. Add two round feet.

6

Give it some bamboo

A tall stick through the paw, a line across it, and two leaves near the top. Now this panda is yours.

Go further

Now draw a panda who ran out of bamboo.
