Six steps to a present

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Start with the front

Draw a big box shape, a little wider than it is tall. Straight lines and square corners.

2

Make it a box

Slant a line back from each top corner, join them for the lid, then drop the side down.

3

Wrap the ribbon

Two lines straight down the front, then two slanted lines across the lid to the back.

4

Tie a big bow

A round knot where the ribbon meets the back, then one big loop up each side.

5

Folds and dots

A little fold line inside each loop, then dots all over the paper. Wobbly dots are fine.

6

Finishing touches

A gift tag tied to the ribbon with a short string. Now this present is yours.

Go further

Now draw a present that is wiggling because something is inside.
