Draw it step by step

Six steps to a snowflake

New lines are purple. Lines you already drew turn light.

1

Draw one long line

Draw a long straight line from one side to the other. A ruler helps, but wobbly is fine.

2

Cross it with two more lines

Draw two more long lines through the middle, like cutting a pizza into six slices. Now you have six arms.

3

Put a V on every arm

Near the middle of each arm, draw a V that opens toward the tip. Go round all six arms.

4

Add a second V

Further out on each arm, draw a smaller V the same way. Every arm looks the same.

5

Dot every tip

Put a round dot at the end of each arm.

6

Finishing touches

Draw a little shape with six sides around the middle, one corner on each arm. Now this snowflake is yours.

Go further

Now draw a snowflake with a pattern nobody has seen before.
