Halloween for kids Pumpkin painting ideas Spider web

Spider web painted pumpkin
Ages 8+ · about 40 minutes, plus drying
To paint a spider web pumpkin, paint it black, then draw straight lines from the stem down the sides and join them with curved rows. A white paint pen or chalk marker makes the thin lines easy, and a toy spider finishes it.
What you need
- A pumpkin, washed and dried
- Black acrylic paint and a wide brush
- A white paint pen or chalk marker
- A plastic toy spider, or black pipe cleaners
- Glue
How to make it

- Keep goingDraw more rows of curves, each a little further down, until the web reaches the bottom.
- Add the spiderGlue on a toy spider, or make one: twist four pipe cleaner halves together in the middle and bend out eight legs.
